Rob Sumner has been appointed to the position of national sales manager for Bodine and will report directly to John Levesque, Bodine’s general manager. A senior member of the Bodine sales management team for over nine years, Rob has managed the west territory for both the U.S. and Canada and has tremendous knowledge in emergency lighting. With this current promotion, Rob will be responsible for aggressively growing Bodine sales through representative, distribution and OEM sales channels.Rob will also manage the inside and outside sales staff for Bodine and continue to cover the west U.S. territory.

Following the promotion of Rob Sumner to national sales manger, Porter Wafler will be transitioningfrom the central to the eastern territory, continuing to provide great service to his representatives and OEM customers and reporting directly to Rob.

Resulting from this change, Cliff Wentworth has been hired to manage the central territory, including training sales representatives and servicing OEMs. He will also report directly to Rob. Cliff has a long and varied career in lighting, having worked for Side-Lite, GE Lighting, Entergy Integrated Solutions, Osram and Sylvania and as a manufacturer's representative.

Brian Beck has been named senior product manager. With 10 years of product management and business development experience at Philips Lighting Electronics, Brian joined Bodine following the acquisition in July 2006. He has expanded Bodine sales in international markets and led the introduction of our new emergency SSL products. In his new role, Brian will report directly to the General Manager, John Levesque, and be responsible for both product planning and product marketing fordomestic and international products.

Alex L. Ertz has been named principle engineer for Bodine. His role focuses on product technology. Alex is responsible for identifying optimal technicalapproaches for use with new products and determining if requisite technologies and expertise should be developed in-house or acquiredexternally. Alex, who most recently served as the company’s general manager, will create Bodine’s technology roadmap.
